My jeans are wet up to me ankles. Damn rain. Just got back from a stroll around the city.

Just as i was going to go back to sleep around lunch time i got a call from Inta asking me if i’d like to join her for lunch down on flinders lane. Since it was on her, i said yes. got up. showered quickly and i was on my way to see her.

Flinders Lane, the funky side of the city. I rarely go to this side as it can get scary exsp at nights. But during the day, the lane’s jampacked with cafe’s, chic boutiques and funky funky art..basicly, during the day, flinders lane is the place to be lah haha! So anyway, Inta wanted to bring me to this Jap restaurant on De’graves lane (where Nat choot lives). The food there apparently is really really good ,served really really cute but the place also happens to be really really small and they really really only open during lunch hour and are always really really packed.

True enough, by one o clock there were no more tables. So we opted for the cafe next door. Can’t remember the name now but everything on their menu was GNOCCI. bleugh. I’m not a big fan of sticky-gooey-potatoes, thank god their lunch special was something more edible .. like.. roasted lamb on a bed of potatoe cake & rocket. The food only came in the year 2050 and there was so much rocket,i didnt know where the lamb was hiding. heh. waste of time. By the time we finished our food, inta had to go back to work.. leaving me queuing for Belgian waffles next door. Belgian waffles. MMmmmMmm.. Waffles by a very cute french boy..MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM even better hahahah 😉 . hahahahaha. its ironic how its belgian waffles tapi yang bejual orang prancis. AFter handing me back my change he was like “Au revoir!!! hihewuehwqiedheihhepasashqidayy”

and i left the stall thinking…..”hihewuehwqiedheihhepasashqidayy?????” and then it clicked me – He meant “have a good day.” lol. Went home..skali an hour later i found myself walking down flinders lane again, this time with Nauli and Kel. hahaha. Had to dangani them makan. eh jadinya. bedangani. macam inda pandai makan sendiri. Walked around melbourne central.. walked towards the tram home in the rain. the weather today can only mean one thing.. SPRING IS AROUND THE CORNER. yippeeee. no more cold wintery nights!!

Anyway, John is holding a fashion show of his label “Inks off John” tonight. I think i better go get ready for that.
