Ive done two 8km runs so far. It has been a while. the last time i ran this often was two months ago. It’s amazing how even a week of no running can have an impact on your stamina. Prior to this i was able to complete an 8km run in an hour… now i take about 1hr 20 minutes min to get to the end of the finishing line/my car. eh, how dis. so bad. i haven’t even started training for a 10km! I’ve been doing 8s since the start of the year.
The fact that its going to be puasa soon doesn’t help either. My running friends told me that they will be running around the stadium area after terawikh, and this to me, sounds abit too ambitious. Ok ah, like dis: u dont eat the whole day..and u finally buka arnd 6..u terawikh until about 9..and u run sampai 10pm..skali u have work tomorrow? and how you going to run at night? won’t it be dangerous kah? i might give this ago, or join the gym for a month.
but then again, do i really want to join the gym????????? maybe i shoud..or maybe i shud just buy myself a torchlight, shut the fuck up and RUN around the stadium .
